Bonefish Grill is located at The Avenue in Viera. They’re known for their fish and seafood dishes.

We visited Bonefish Grill recently and wanted to share our thoughts will all of you.

For Starters

Bonefish is known for their crusty bread with herbs and olive oil. We love their bread and olive oil. The bread is always soft on the inside and crusty on the outside. The herbs in the olive oil are light and flavorful and pair nicely with the bread.

Onto the Entrees

The first entree we have here is the chicken and shrimp combo. It’s a grilled chicken breast paired with jumbo shrimp that are brushed with citrus-herb marinade. This dish is served with two sides. Pictured here are coleslaw and jasmine rice.

If you’re not a fan of pepper but are interested in trying this, make sure you ask for light seasoning on both. We weren’t prepared for this dish to be so peppery.

Otherwise, the chicken was tender. The shrimp were meaty and tender. The coleslaw was refreshing and light. The rice had a nice flowery flavor to it.

This is the grilled rainbow trout paired with sautéed spinach (replaced the seasonal vegetable, broccoli, because they ran out of it) and mashed potatoes. This is from the “From the Wood-Fired Grill” section on the menu. Everything comes with your choice of sauce and two sides. The sauce we chose was lemon butter on the side.

The trout was light, flavorful, and tender. The mashed potatoes were creamy and full of garlicky flavor. The spinach was a bit bland compared to everything else.

Closing Thoughts

We’ve been frequent visitors of Bonefish for years. They’re usually always consistent and their food is very good.

If you’re craving fish or seafood, this is the place to go.
