Blaze Pizza is located in the Viera Colonnade Shops in Viera. Blaze Pizza is known for their “pizza bar”. You have the option of building your own pizza. You can choose everything. From cheese to dough to meats to veggies to add-ons. You are the artist here.

We visited Blaze Pizza recently and wanted to share our thoughts on the food with all of you.

We picked up dinner via curbside. We ordered our food on the Blaze Pizza app. When you order on the app, make sure you place the order ASAP because if you leave the order sitting too long, it will disappear. We suggest making an account with them so this doesn’t happen.

We selected a time when we wanted to pick up and BOOM! It was just the matter of getting our food. It was pretty busy at Blaze considering it was a Friday night during prime hours for dinner. It took about 15 minutes or so after our pickup time to get our food. Nonetheless, the wait was worth it.

We all got the take two build your own half 11-inch pizzas with side caesar salads and pesto garlic cheesy bread for an appetizer.

Appetizers and Salads, Oh My!

Starting off with a classic caesar salad, the romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp. They weren’t skimpy on the grated and shaved parmesan cheese which we loved. The croutons were crunchy. The salad came with one dressing on the side. The dressing was a good caesar dressing full of flavor and the right amount of bite.

The main reason we wanted to try Blaze Pizza again was because we heard that they brought out their garlic cheesy bread but added a pesto drizzle on top. It was so good. The bread was soft yet crispy. The melted mozzarella was stringy and the pesto was full of flavor.

It’s Pizza Time!

This build your own pizza starts with a cauliflower crust with garlic pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, goat cheese, parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes (they were more like mini roma tomatoes), fresh basil, roasted garlic, and roasted red peppers all topped with arugula. If you like everything on this pizza, this is the right choice for you. The sweetness of the red peppers, the tanginess of the goat cheese, and the bursting flavors from the cherry tomatoes paired with the crispiness of the cauliflower crust all worked so well together.

This build your own pizza starts with original dough, red sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, grilled chicken, fresh basil, and roasted garlic all topped with oregano. The chicken on this pizza and the one above didn’t have as much chicken as we would’ve liked. We wanted another protein other than the cheese so that’s why we chose the grilled chicken. Other than that, this pizza was full of flavor from the combination of the cheeses to the sweetness and caramelization of the garlic.

The last build your own pizza starts with cauliflower crust, red sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, mushrooms, and red onions all topped with an olive oil drizzle. The crispiness of the cauliflower crust paired with the meatiness of the mushrooms and the sweetness and caramelized onions worked well together.

Closing Thoughts

Fun fact time. The cauliflower crust is gluten free but contains dairy and eggs and the original dough along with their gluten-free and high rise doughs are all vegan.

We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the quality of our meals overall. We will definitely be coming back again. Maybe even ordering the same pizzas? Yeah, they were that good.

If you’re craving pizza and have your dream of building your own pizza, this is the place to go.
