Olive Tree Greek Grill is located in The Avenue in Viera. They’re known for their authentic greek food.

We visited Olive Tree recently and wanted to share our thoughts with all of you.

We’ve been frequent visitors to Olive Tree for quite awhile now. This visit was done via curbside. We ordered on the ChowNow app on a mobile device. The app gave us a pickup time and we just rode over to The Avenue. There are about 4 or so curbside parking spots and all we needed to do was call the restaurant and tell them that we were picking up an order. One of the girls that worked there brought us our food and we were ready to roll.

It’s Time to Get Greeky

This is a spanakopita. If you’ve never had one before, it’s layers of thin and cripsy phyllo dough with spinach and feta cheese in between each layer. This spanakopita was packed with spinach and feta cheese. They were cool enough to give us an extra phyllo dough layer on top.

Next, we have the creamy feta dip. The dip is full of flavor from the saltiness from the feta cheese and the punch from the garlic. These are always made to order so we never know when it’s going to be really garlicky or just right. It was served with cucumbers and our choice of a white or whole wheat pita. We order this every time we visit and it’s always really good.

Next up is a chicken gyro. The chicken gyro comes with lettuce, tomato, and onion but this one has just lettuce. We were able to pick our choice of tzatziki or garlic sauce. Of course we went with tzatziki. It’s a staple when it comes to traditional Greek cuisine. The sauce is always yummy. The coolness of the cucumbers pairs well with the greek yogurt-base. The chicken was tender and juicy. It’s always huge so we end up eating most of it with a fork and dip the pita in the creamy feta dip.

This is the lemon soup that comes with the Greek Dinner Island Style. It was creamy and the rice had a nice, soft texture. There was a right amount of lemon. It was the perfect soup for a cool, summer night.

This is the Greek Dinner Island Style. It comes with spanakopita, falafel balls, and a salad along with soup. pitas, and a choice of sauce. The salad had so much feta cheese which made us happy because we’re big cheese lovers. The falafels were crispy on the outside and full of flavor on the inside.

This is how the Greek Dinner Island Style was packaged as a to-go order.

Closing Thoughts

As we mentioned earlier, we’ve been frequent visitors here for the last few years or so. Their food is always consistent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

If you’re a fan greek food, this is the place to go.
