Bahama Breeze is located near Waterford Lakes in Orlando.  They’re known for the Caribbean and tropical-influenced food.

This was our first time at the restaurant so we wanted to share our thoughts on the food with all of you.

This is the ultimate margarita. It has fresh lime and lemon juice, hand-shaken with Herradura and Cointreau. The drink was good and packed quite the punch.

This was one of the appetizers we got. Unfortunately, we didn’t take pictures of the other two. They were the spinach dip and coconut shrimp. The spinach dip was creamy and cheesy. The coconut shrimp were crunchy and the shrimp were tender.

Pictured here is guacamole. The guacamole was basically mashed up avocado and red onion. There wasn’t much to it. It wasn’t bad, it was bland.

This is the Jamaican Jerk chicken is a half-chicken served with yellow rice, plantains, and black beans.

The chicken was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The plantains were sweet.

This is the lighter portion of the grilled chicken with cilantro-crema served with mashed potatoes and corn.

This is the best grilled chicken I’ve ever had. It had a sweet but not over-powering marinade and it was like butter. It was so tender.

The mashed potatoes were buttery and smooth. The corn had a nice sweet flavor to it. The cilantro-crema was highly addicting. It was tangy and creamy. It was delicious.

These are the choice of 2 blackened mahi tacos. They’re flour tortillas filled with blackened mahi, cabbage, tomato salsa, cilantro, and lime aioli served with fresh fruit underneath mango sorbet.

The mahi was soft and tender with a kick of spice from the rub on the fish. The fresh fruit with mango sorbet was refreshing.

These are the black bean and guacamole tacos. They’re flour tortillas filled with a black bean crumble, guacamole, cabbage, and tomato salsa served with yellow rice.

The black bean crumble had an interesting texture and paired nicely with the creaminess from the guacamole.

This is the salmon tostada salad. It’s grilled salmon a bed of greens with tomato, corn, and black bean salsa. It’s served with avocado chimichurri, Island vinaigrette, and a crispy tortilla with melted cheese.

The salmon was tender. The mix of the tomato, corn, and black bean salsa blend together nicely. The crispy tortilla is a yummy addition.

Closing Thoughts

As we mentioned earlier, this was our first time at Bahama Breeze. We were impressed. The food was delicious and flavorful.

We will definitely be coming again when we make our way to the Orlando area.

If you’re on the hunt for good Caribbean-inspired food in Orlando, this is the place to go.
