First Watch is located at Viera Colonnade Shops in Viera. They’re known for their fresh food.
We visited First Watch recently and wanted to share our thoughts with all of you.
Here Come The Main Courses
First up, we have the chicken salad melt without the melt. This open-face sandwich has all white meat chicken salad packed with apples, raisins, and celery and two big slices of tomato and served on multigrain bread. It comes with tomato soup.
The chicken was tender, the celery added a nice crunch, and the raisins added a fruity flavor. The soup was creamy.
This a monterey club. It includes turkey, bacon, avocado, organic mixed greens, mayo, monterey jack cheese, and tomato served on sourdough bread. It comes with mixed greens on the side but we substituted it with fresh, seasoned potatoes. This one has no tomato or mixed greens.
The turkey was tender and piled onto the sandwich. The bacon added a nice smokey flavor. One thing that we wished they did was add more avocado. They never put enough on it and we always end up asking for more.
The potatoes were soft and flavorful.
Closing Thoughts
First Watch is usually pretty consistent when we visit. There are a lot of fresh options here.
